What Is the Best Time of Day to Take Shilajit?

Timing is a genuinely practical question, and the commonly cited guidance has a reasonable rationale behind it.

Why Morning Is Usually Recommended

Taking Shilajit in the morning, roughly 30-45 minutes before breakfast, is the most commonly recommended timing. This is thought to align with the body's natural morning cortisol rhythm and support absorption on an empty stomach.

Why Avoid Late Evening

Some users report sleep disruption when taking Shilajit later in the day, particularly after mid-afternoon — likely related to its energising effect for some people. If you want to try a split dose, morning plus early afternoon (not evening) is a commonly suggested alternative.

An Honest Caveat

This timing guidance comes from research and user experience with standard resin or capsule Shilajit. We are not aware of research establishing separate timing guidance specifically for a chocolate-bite format like ours — the general principle (morning, with food, not late at night) is a reasonable starting point.
